I am a graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy and spent two semesters abroad studying at The University of Edinburgh and Cambridge University.  I have also been fortunate enough to travel throughout the world including other parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and throughout the United States of America.  I try to bring all of my experience to my writing in various forms so that I may pass a little of my experience on to the reader.  Please take some time to look through my summaries, character profiles, short stories and poetry as-well-as the journal that I am keeping on-line. 

I recently finished my first novel, The Four: book one of The Elements and have begun work on book two of the series with a working title of The Open Eye.  The Elements is a fantasy series featuring four heroes, Tristan, Del, Eric and Prometh, which wield the Natural Elements, Earth, Water, Air and Fire respectively. They are going into battle against Kasikan who has the power of the Humanistic Elements, or being able to use mind control on people near him.  This adventure fantasy leads the reader through a range of emotions with each of the characters and shows how balance is necessary to sustain the world of Terlib. 

I have also begun work on a realistic fiction novel named Young Buck.  This will begin in 1920’s with a young boy named Jesse who is forced from his home at an early age and moves out to the farm lands of Eastern Iowa.  He grows to manhood facing the trials and tribulations of an orphan trying to find his place in a world.
