Alter Lucere is an eccentric older gentleman, (no one is sure quite how old, just that he has been around for several generations,) who has the Power to control all Natural Elements; Earth, Water, Air and Fire.  Alter also has the unique ability to feel the presence of those who have the Power of the natural elements.  This puts him in the position to seek out and guide the four heroes, as-well-as teach them how to use their new found powers.  He dresses in worn travel cloaks since he is always on the move.
