Welcome to the Dictionary of Ceridin to English

The Ceridin language is spoken language and there is no written language associated with it, as far as the story goes, obviously I am creating a written language for it now.  They did have the pictographs but these did not form a written language but would give the viewer glimpses of a story and through meditation and concentration the story would come to life for the viewer as it does for Tristan when he and Del are in the temple in the mountains.

The Ceridin language is constructed by having a subject then verb.  Some of the nouns become compound words displaying their use such as the weapons.  For example sri-rah.  Sri just simply means a sharp thin blade, made up of s- which is a prefix that showing that the object is sharp and made of a metallic substances.  S- also starts out sou which is the word for sword, also sharp and made of metal.  The base word for Sri-rah is then is ri then the suffix rah saying that the noun is an instument used for attack.
