Emperor Kasikan wields the Power of the Humanistic Elements which allow him to read people’s thoughts, control their minds and change what they see and what they hear.  Kasikan leads his empire from Niwrad with the philosophy that the strong should lead, the weak should follow and if they do not get out of the way, they should be eliminated.  He has always strived for power over other men since his youth, but his mind became more warped as he stole the power from a young boy gifted with the power of reading thoughts through a gruesome ceremony that cost the boy his life.  Since then Kasikan has become more obsessed with seeking power and stealing it from those with Powers of both the Natural and the Humanistic Elements.  His black eyes tell the story of him being aged far beyond his outward appearance.
